These sweaters will keep you warm in cool spells and dry in warm spells during those sudden spring showers. From work to dance class, to coffee, to the mountains and back again travel in chic comfort and steez.
Size and Fit:
True to size - For a closer fit, go with the same size as your t-shirt size. For a looser fit, go a size up. The bamboo fleece knit has an ample amount of stretch for comfort and movement throughout. The oversized turtleneck keeps you cozy, but is wide enough not to feel constricted, and can be worn up as a hood; And, it leaves you plenty of room to put it over your head without mussing up your hair. The hem sits just above the hip at your wearer's waist/ your jeans waistband for comfort and for coverage. Longer arm cuffs keep your hands cozy, but are easy to roll up when you need to get work done.
Wash and Care:
Hand wash and lay flat to dry, or Machine wash inside out in a laundry bag, cold, gentle cycle, and lay flat to dry.

Come learn how do make your memade pieces even more beautiful! This class is great for beginner to advanced students. We will learn the same foundational principals of patternmaking as Pattern Making 101 through skirt making - and along the way learn the specifics of how to make your skirts fit and flow more beautifully. In this class we will draft waistbands, circle skirts, a-line skirts, and flare skirts. Take your skirt game to the next level!
This course is four 2-hour sessions. The next session is:
Wed Jan 15, 22, 29 & Feb 5 - 6 pm to 8 pm

Wed Feb 26 & March 4, 11, 18 - 6 pm to 8 pm

*Beginner sewing / patternmaking skills, Pattern Making 101 or equivalent experience are the recommended prerequisite for this course.
Class fees include all supplies except rulers and fabric scissors. Rulers are available for purchase in the Assemble Work/Shop, and during the class.

Aileen is one of the co-founders of Assemble Work/Shop. She is a professional Fashion Designer with a background in Knitwear and Home Decor. Her approach to both fashion, as well as home decor is focused on locally crafted, high quality product. Aileen founded Homeage in the early 2000s, a home decor company focusing primarily on carefully curated custom and handmade interior textile pieces for client’s homes and businesses. Prior to Homeage, Aileen graduated from Ryerson University and shortly afterwards, founded and designed for NONONO, a Toronto children’s wear company producing locally made children’s clothing and printed textiles. Aileen nurtured NONONO for 15 successful years.
